Continue down that corridor now and at the end, a scene follows. When it concludes, follow the hallway around to the kitchen for another scene. Then you're given control to use a brush capability. Draw a line from Manpuku's mother to the plant hanging in the upper left corner of the screen. It's important that you draw from Charity's hat, right near the top, or else the vine won't register.
You have to aim just right, which makes it easy to wonder if you're even doing the right thing Just keep trying until you get it right. When Charity is freed, you'll have to battle some weak enemies. Defeat them in the usual manner, then watch the scene that follows. When it concludes, Kurow is your partner again.
Check the side of the room to find a treasure chest and open it for the Divine Sake L , then start around the hallway again. There's a small room, just off to the side. Enter it and you'll find an imp standing guard near a massive cage.
When you approach, you will have to fight an enemy known as Dokuro. He is a fairly familiar foe, albeit with a heavy suit of armor, so use the same strategy to defeat him as usual with one exception: start by drawing an upside-down 'U' to repel all of his armor so that he is stripped down to his usual form.
You will get the skeleton key once you've beaten all of the imps in the sparring room. After you've gotten the skeleton key, you can open all of the cells. The third cell has a bombable wall that leads to a path that connects to the second cell and its treasure chest. This path is the only way in or out. Do so and enter that area, then step on the left switch and have Kurow step on the right one. Water will drain from the hole in the main room. A separate doorway will open, as well.
Unfortunately, Kurow will become trapped. Head back out of the cell and to the room with the lift. Approach the operator and use a Power Slice to talk him into lowering the lift. Then at the lower level, head through the open space where a door opened a moment ago. In the next room, you'll find a huge cauldron resting over a fire.
There's a basin of water nearby, so use the water from the basin to fill the cauldron at the base of the conveyor belt. You'll receive some experience points and then you can cross over on a meat island that materializes. Head up and then climb the stairs to the left to arrive on the belt. Now you need to head against the direction it tries to pull you. Move left and right to avoid obstructions, and time any advances so that you don't get hit by the huge blades that chop down periodically on the belt.
You'll need to veer wide of jets of fire, as well. Then you can exit the belt along the left side, but don't do so just yet. Instead, continue up along the belt and you'll find a stone ledge on its left side. Exit there and open the treasure chest to obtain Masterpiece Part 4.
Now head back down along the belt and exit left to the wooden walkway. Head up along that left side of the room to reach some stairs. Climb those stairs to the right and start across the belt by way of the narrow catwalk. If you talk to the imp, he'll reveal his willingness to trade some sake for the Golden Imp Mask, if you can find it.
Continue right across the bridge, descend to the room's right side and then you can find a chest partially obscured by a stack of crates. Open it for the Fist Sake. Head back up toward the top right side of the room and there's a switch. Step on it to lower the water level in the main chamber again.
Another door opens along the side of that chamber. Return to that main chamber with the lift and get the imp to lower the lift again. Head into the room to the right and use a Power Slice on the scroll along the back wall. You'll reveal a hidden alcove. Step inside the alcove to find a switch that will lower the water level again.
Now head back outside to the main room. Once again, descend to the next level by using Power Slice on the lift operator. Pick up the Exorcising Arrow that it drops and return to the previous room. The Exorcising Arrow will open the door to the elevator and you can use the Origin Mirror to the right of it. Enter the elevator and notice that the floor design uses the Cherry Bomb symbol. Stand at the edge of the elevator so that you're not on the moving platform and draw a Cherry Bomb in the middle of the elevator so that it rises without you.
If you step on the light in the centre, you will find yourself back in the elevator so you may have to do this a couple of times to get everything if you do it accidentally. When you're ready to proceed, use Cherry Bomb to ride the elevator up to the second floor.
Leave the elevator and deal with the Chimera in the Demon Scroll to acquire another Exorcising Arrow. Go back through the elevator door and drop down to the bottom. Use Cherry Bomb twice to rise two floors and the Exorcising Arrow will allow you to leave the elevator. Issun will point out the pattern of the black wind.
Use the Celestial Brush to draw the same shape but in the opposite direction. Repeat this process twice more to clear away the evil winds. The big windmill will start turning again. This summons Kazegami who bestows the Galestorm ability on Ammy. Try your newfound power out on the small windmill to unlock the Kazegami trophy. This should add one to your health bar. Head back down the stairs. Issun points out the burning chest so use Galestorm to blow the flames out and acquire the Gale Shrine Map.
Go back into the elevator and jump down to the bottom. Use Cherry Bomb to go up one floor and head out of the back to find another burning chest. Go back into the elevator, drop down and exit. You may want to save your game at the Origin Mirror. Head onto the platform with the two windmills and use Galestorm to blow the wind towards the windmill. This will cause the platform to rotate allowing you access a new path. Open the chest immediately in front of you to obtain the Brush Tips travel guide.
Make your way to the end of the corridor where you will find a burning chest containing a Pearl. Turn around and look up to see a Konohana Blossom that you can use to get onto a beam. Use Galestorm to put out a burning chest and grab the Lacquerware Set inside.
Look across and you'll see another Konohana Blossom. Use this to get you onto a different beam. There's a burning chest containing an Inkfinity Stone and you can walk to another beam where you'll find a group of mice to feed. Look up to spot another Konohana Blossom which brings you out by a chest containing some Steel Soul Sake. From here, look west to spot another Konohana Blossom. Get across and you'll see two beams with chests on that are too far away to jump to.
What you need to do is stand on the beam and use Galestorm to blow the hanging banners so that they form a bridge. Jump across the jumps are annoyingly hard to judge so this may take a few attempts and grab a Wooden Bear and Exorcism Slip S from the chests. Use Galestorm to extinguish the flames and leap over the obstacles.
Head through the doors at the end and make your way to the central arena to face off against Crimson Helm. Keep mobile and stick to his side or rear to avoid his sword and flame attacks. If he leaps into the air, leap yourself so you don't take damage when he lands.
After you've landed a few hits on him, his armour will fall off. Immediately use Galestorm to put out the flames surrounding him and wallop him while his defences are down.
You will probably have to repeat the process at least once, but he should fall easily enough, particularly since the Power Orbs of Satomi will absorb no fewer than eight of his attacks. You will have to help him out with six well-timed Power Slashes activated when you see a Kanji character appear.
Time does not stand still when you're doing this, so you have to be quick. After this sequence, you will have to help him out with three applications of Galestorm. Fortunately, you can take your time with this. The powered-up Susano will destroy Crimson Helm once and for all. After the scene, you will acquire a new rosary-type Divine Instrument, the Life Beads.
He will leave you with another prophecy after which you will leave the Gale Shrine, unlocking the One Mean Dude trophy. Save your game if you like and you will find yourself at the entrance to the shrine with Princess Fuse. Yatsu will also thank you for allowing him to pass over finally. You will earn a total of 30 Praise. It's not immediately clear how to leave this place.
Run down the screen and turn left and you'll come to the exit. Issun will suggest that you go to Kamiki Village but if you listened to him, you would miss out on a huge amount. Now that you have the Galestorm ability, there is lots to unlock in places you've previously visited. Return to Kusa Village.
As you descend into the main part of the village, make a note of the banners hanging down from the platform where you found one of the Canine Warriors. Use the Konohana Blossom to get up to the platform. Approach the banners and use draw Galestorm from right to left to make them flap horizontally. Turn the camera so that it's side-on otherwise the jumps are all-but impossible to judge and use the banners to get across to the other platform.
Use Galestorm to blow the leaves away and then dig on the chest until it pops out of the ground. Use Galestorm left-to-right to make the banners horizontal and jump across the first two. When you get to the middle you will notice that one banner is missing. Create another Galestorm to buy some time and then jump and tackle square button to get across to the fourth banner. From here you should be able to get across to the other platform and claim the Golden Peach from the chest.
If you find the middle jump too tricky, you will learn double-jump later and can come back to this. Jump down and look for a withered tree. Blooming it doesn't seem to work permanently, but there is a chest nearby which you may already have uncovered containing a Holy Bone S.
Use Galestorm to blow the leaves away to uncover a hole. Speak to Bingo and agree to help him unearth the treasure. Head towards the Cutters' House.
